The hydropneumatic CTAF* chassis combines the advantages of a rigid axle and an independent suspension without sacrificing ride comfort.

The active chassis is operating on the principle of independent suspension, which offers a higher driving comfort for riding solo as well as carrying a passenger instead of riding with a traditional rigid axle. In addition the CTAF* offers an easy adjustment of the charging pressure depending on the loading condition.

The CTAF principle
When cornering, the outside wheel is connected by the CTAF*-hydraulic-actuator with the inner wheel and works on the principle of a coupled independent suspension. The driving condition remains stable when cornering and shows no inclination to ride outward.
